Evaluate your effectiveness

Feedback is crucial if you want to be sure you're getting your message across. We offer a range of opportunities for advertisers to find out what customers, actual and potential, understand about your business.

SAM surveys. These studies take place twice yearly, and monitor the effectiveness of your advertising in Optician. The SAM survey will tell you:

  • How well your advertisement reached your intended market
  • How well it communicated your message
  • The overall impact of your advertisement
SAM surveys are included in the cost price of your advertisements in the designated issues of Optician. In 2008, the dates are April 18 (frames special) and September 5th (contact lens special)

Ask your Market. Find out the answer to one or more specific questions in our "Ask your Market" research studies, made up of questions from any advertiser who wishes to take part. These studies also take place twice yearly.
