Copy and Artwork Requirements Typesetting: Please supply clear and typewritten copy Logos: Must be originals eg letterhead, bromide etc Artwork: Please supply in camera ready form Film: Positive, right reading, emulsion side down Colour: Screen 60 Metric (150 Imperial) progressives or with cromalins Mono: Screen 60 Metric (150 Imperial). Alternatively artwork or PMT produced at 100% size Digital Artwork - Formats Artwork should be supplied as a PDF. We recommend the use of Quickcut which is an application designed to ensure artwork files are correctly supplied. We also recommend the Pass4Press standards for PDF developed by the Periodical Publishers Association. Please refer to: QuickCut - www.quickcut.com Pass4Press - www.ppa.co.uk Alternatively we will accept an Encapsulated Postscript File (EPS). All font information must be embedded in the file. The file must be colour composite (CYMK and not RGB) with a preview and saved in mac binary without crop marks. A copy of all placed files such as EPS or TIFF must be supplied in a folder with the main file. Artwork must be produced at 100% size. The following native forms are acceptable but not recommended: QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, Illustrator or Photoshop. It is illegal for you to supply us the fonts, so please ensure we hold all fonts being used. Along with the file please supply a proof with colours, fonts and placed files marked on it. Artwork can be supplied via 4-sight ISDN/Zip/Jaz or compact discs. PLEASE NOTE: All artwork, typesetting and film will be automatically charged back at cost. Quotations can be supplied on request.
