Optical public relations agency Ash Studios is to offer a fixed-price PR service to independent opticians. The company, whose clients include major UK eyewear firms, has taken the initiative following discussions with independents struggling to co-ordinate their own PR programmes. The agency is proposing to offer a fixed-price package that offers inclusive PR coverage for a single event.
Robert Ager, who owns and runs the agency, said that this would include an initial consultation and advice, professionally written press release and local media targeting, all-in from as little as £100.ÔI have spoken to numerous independents over the years and many have expressed their fears that as the multiples have grown, along with their PR and marketing budgets, they have been squeezed out of the limelight in their local media.ÔWith a little imagination and a correctly targeted feature, even the smallest practice can have a loud voice.
Their events are imaginative and newsworthy and it is in this capacity that I feel we can help,Õ Mr Ager explained. He added that many practices could not afford a PR agency on a long-term basis, and would feel happier with a Ôpay as you goÕ service. The company can offer photography, website and artwork production for clients working on a tight budget.u Details on: 020 8844 190
