Practitioners who want to make a start in therapeutic and anterior eye practice are targeted in the BCLA's next half-day CET course.

'Front of House' will comprise an afternoon of lectures from specialists in anterior eye management and treatment, followed by the Association's annual medical lecture.

The afternoon programme will include a special session on red eyes, lumps and lid problems, hosted by optometrists Nick Rumney and Donald Cameron.

Aimed at helping practitioners decide which conditions they can and cannot treat or manage in practice, the session lasts 90 minutes.
In the evening lecture, Rumney and Cameron will give a guide to the new legislation on optometric prescribing and the drugs now available for treating contact lens related conditions.

'Front of House' will take place on March 15 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
