Specsavers sell frames online

Specsavers online eyewear service go live

Specsavers has launched its eyewear collection online following its confirmation earlier this year that it was ready to take this significant step.

The new online sales portal is incorporated within its existing website (www.specsavers.co.uk) and the service is flagged up as 'buying glasses online in 6 simple steps'. The site boasts that over 1,000 frames are available to choose from and that prices start from as little £25. Customers are also promised that once an online order is placed then within two working days their preferred Specsavers store will contact them to arrange a visit to the store for collection and fitting.

A free phone number is available to customers who need further assistance with placing their online order. The site also allows users to use their NHS optical voucher to contribute towards payment for glasses. Online purchasers can also take advantage of a '2-for1' offer on designer brands currently available in-store.
