It was success all round for Bushnell Perfomance Optics UK when two of its sunglasses topped What Car? magazine's driving sunglass test of 10 designs.
The Serengeti Dante sunglass was voted winner, with the Bollé Montauk style runner-up in a test that included sunglasses from Polaroid, Porsche Design, Carrera and Specsavers Osiris.
In response to the win, Bushnell said that Serengeti lenses were made of high-grade borosilicate glass, subtly highlighting the driving colours so that brake lights and traffic signals are far more visible. The company added that they are also photochromic, polarised, have a patented Spectral Control filter for crisp, sharp vision and block 95 per cent of blue light to virtually eliminate blue blur and distortion.
Bushnell said that the lenses also improved vision when driving in fog and rain.
