Alliance visits political party conferences

The Eye Health Alliance is gearing up for this year's political party conference season, which kicks off with the Liberal Democrat party conference in Bournemouth from September 13 to 17.

This year the Alliance is vice chair of the Health Hotel, a coalition of health organisations and charities, which organises a series of events at the political party conferences.

Health minister Ann Keen, Conservative health spokesperson Anne Milton, and John Pugh MP are among some of the speakers due to address a fringe event.

The Alliance will also attend the Labour party conference in Manchester which takes place from September 20 to 24 and the Conservative party conference to be held in Birmingham from September 28 to October 1.
