Optician has become the first CET provider to offer a point towards the new independent prescriber specialist register.

The feature on page 26 of this week's issue, looking at lissamine green use, is the first CET to be accredited this way.

This week sees the Vantage website updated to include submissions aimed at achieving accreditation for the new independent prescriber category.

Optician will provide a range of CET points over the coming years to include all specialist categories.
