Derby-based Mid-Optic has been selected by Scope Healthcare as its distribution partner for the Hycosan range of products.

Hycosan now comes in a smaller, price-adjusted 7.5ml option. The preservative-free eye drop lasts for up to 12 weeks after opening. February also saw the introduction of Hycosan Plus, a new formulation of a preservative-free sodium hyaluronate eye drop with the added ingredient Dexpanthenol. Mid-Optic described the product as having added benefits particularly for patients with a more severe case of dry eye or for those who have recently undergone eye laser treatment.
