Specialist ophthalmic services provider Optegra has opened its fourth hospital, a new facility called Solent Eye Hospital, in Whiteley, Hampshire.

The hospital was opened by councillor Richard Izard, mayor of Winchester, who is pictured with Paresh Patel, managing director of Optegra.

The company invested over £2.2m in surgical and diagnostic equipment with which to equip the 13,000sq ft facility where 19 consultant level ophthalmic surgeons will practise.
