This amusing airport scene helped Specsavers win a silver award in the advertising category of this year's 50+ Show.

Supermarket retailer Marks and Spencer took the top prize at the London event.

Steven Loftus, Specsavers' deputy creative director, said: 'We're very pleased to receive this award. Over-50s customers are very important to Specsavers, so it's good to know that our ads are making an impression and raising a smile.'

The awards were based solely on the internet nominations and votes of people over the age of 50.
