FOLKESTONE &/OR RAMSGATE - DOLLOND & AITCHISON
(Opportunities available at both practices or part time opportunities at just one of the branches)

Resident Optometrist

Hours: Full Time or Part Time (flexible working possible)
Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 basic (depending on experience/ pro-rata for part-time hours worked) plus benefits and potential bonus
Supplements: Location or Travel Supplement (negotiable), car allowance. Attractive relocation package also available
Location: The role is split between our Folkestone & Ramsgate branches however if you’re looking for part time work, then you have the option of working at just one of these practices

The Role:
Dollond & Aitchison have an exciting opening for a resident Optometrist who would like to work between our Folkestone & Ramsgate branches. This position offers a great opportunity to live in a fantastic location, receive a competitive salary plus great bonus potential. As the resident Optometrist you would not only be asked to deliver outstanding eyecare, but as part of the Branch Leadership Team you would also be working closely with the 2 Branch Managers to support the day-to-day running of these branches to achieve exceptional business results.

The Branch:
Folkestone and Ramsgate Branches are both located in town centres, both of which are favoured tourist destinations. The branches each feature two testing rooms and are known for their friendly and professional atmosphere. Both branches have a good patient mix of young and old and therefore have contact lens demand as well as feature a good collection of D&A as well as designer

The Area:
A traditional sea side town Folkestone has a wide variety of leafy avenues, period architecture and colourful gardens. There is a fanatic selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as fine beaches and a sunny climate. Similarly the town of Ramsgate is set amongst pretty Regency and Victorian listed buildings, and much activity is set around the busy harbour. Margate is close by for a more lively night, although Ramsgate is not short of lovely restaurants and bars.
