Our client is a large, fast growing and highly profitable organisation. Their involvement in the optical profession revolves around providing onsite eye examinations for corporate clients, using state of the art mobile clinics. Each mobile clinic is staffed with one optometrist and one dispensing optician, and visits various sites in London and the South East. The optical laboratory will support all the clinics with their spectacle requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete organisation of the new lab from ordering to delivery. You will be producing lenses using all types of glazing including rimless, supras, plastics and metal. This is a new role and the ideal candidate will have the drive and enthusiasm to develop the position to its full potential. Key Skills Required • Excellent organisational skills • Familiar with the latest optical technology • Excellent computer skills • Minimum of 2 years experience preferably as a lab manager or in a glazing house • Pro active approach This is an excellent opportunity to be in at the start of a new and challenging business venture.
