A rare optometry vacancy has arisen for an optometrist in the South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire area. This would ideally suit someone that is looking to work in the independent sector which can offer the availability of partnership after an introductory period.
This well established independent optician has four practices within the South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire area. They are now keen to add another optometrist into the friendly team to enhance and continue the success of the company.
The role will be based in their head office in North Nottinghamshire, however some flexibility may be required to cover other practices when the rare need arises. The first thing you will notice at the practice is the relaxed, friendly and professional environment. The practice promotes full professional freedom with the main drive being customer satisfaction through an exemplary service.
On average there will be fifteen patients to see per day, with an appointment time of twenty five minutes with assistance from the optometric staff if needed. The practice also operates a diabetic screening clinic, therefore experience or interest in this area would be beneficial. The practice also welcomes individuals who have a specialist interest that would add value to the company by providing a benefit to the patient base.
The company is keen to meet optometrists who have a flexible working nature and can create and maintain rapport with patients. It is of paramount importance that you have the ability to provide good recommendations in the consulting room followed by a comprehensive handover to the dispensing optician.
The double fronted practice is based on the main High Street and provides a good footfall of patients, having been there for twenty five years. The practice has two consulting rooms, a separate dispensing area and has good range of equipment and product range to compliment the recent refit.
