An interesting opportunity for a part-time Optometrist is on offer at this progressive independent practice in Staffordshire.
It will be the Optometrist’s responsibility to take a clinical lead, dealing with sight tests, contact lenses and doing some specialist work, including diabetic screening. There is every chance the role will become full-time, so those looking for full-time work are encouraged to apply.
The practice has been under its current ownership since February 2008 but has been established as opticians for nearly 30 years. They benefit from a loyal patient base and can boast traditional patient care, coupled with a nod toward modern technology, with equipment such as a Fundus camera, computerised test chart, colorimeter, etc.
Based over three floors, with scope for an additional consulting room, the practice is easily accessible by road and by public transport. There is a supportive team in place including a resident Optometrist, Practice Manager, three receptionists and a Lab Technician.
