Going cold turkey on Ortho K

Since the arrival of the Vision by Conran specs and the rapid glazing by Anglo Italian ( see previous post) it was just a matter of time before I put the OrthoK on hold to try out the new specs.
For those of you who don't know ( there can't be many) I am taking part in an Ironman triathlon later this year so I am in training for which the Ortho K comes in really handy. Anyway I took the plunge on Thursday night planning that I would be fine on Friday, slip in some -1.0 Daysoft UV lens I have over the weekend and be ready for specs by the new week.
After a hard training session I awoke on Saturday as sick as a dog. Fever, sweats, lack of balance the full monty.

Sunday was even worse, I felt like a drug addict going cold turkey.
I am a full-on OrthoK convert but I don't think even I would have stood the RGPs on my eye over the weekend, or even now.
So as it turned out I was a happy spectacle wearer once again.

A polite letter is important addressed to the magazine's Fiction Editor, introducing yourself and attaching your story, with double spaced text and having big margins on both sides. This is for ease of use by the journal staff and is important. Pages ought to each be numbered.

I wish more people would write blogs like this that are actually fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the net, it is rare to read a blog like yours instead.

Your post is great. There are some issues here but don't have the time right now. I'm bookmarking this and leave this post to check again later and update my primary comment (this one). By the way i found your blog as i was searching for relevant subjects in Bing
