It is with great sadness that I have to report on Emma White's leaving do.

I hereby declare the silly season open.
Why is it that overseas news is so much more interesting than what we get in the UK.Hot on the heels of the tale about the US optician who tried to kill himself by driving into a house but only succeeding in killing the householder comes this story from the Thai-language Khao Sod newspaper.

First of all let me apologise for the tea stain on this picture.....

How galling it is to walk through any market, go into any cheapo store or even ( perish the thought) log on to the internet only to find vitual copies of branded frames on sale for peanuts.

Well this is how it can happen in fashion.......

I am often contact about Optician the magazine but I am now being contacted by people who want me to start blogging about their own bugbears.
