Optician in the Pink

Some of you lucky people have already seen this week's pink edition of Optician. The colour change is in recognition of Breast Cancer awreness month and CooperVision.

The contact lens company is donating £1 for every pack of 30 proclear 1 Day lenses sold this year and kick starting the whole process by doubling that to £2 a pack during October. This is a great way of supporting a worthy cause.
It is interesting to note that while reading the Sunday newspapers this weekend among the many 'pink' supporters being 'bigged-up' in the press there was no mention of Proclear. This is a real shame given that contact lenses are something people really need and will buy rather than a pair of pink wellies or a pink Kenwood Chef.
