There were smiles all round at the Rodenstock Awards on Tuesday lunchtime. The bash at the Dorchester was top notch and there were some pretty good prizes on offer. As well as the national awards in a range of categories no fewer than 17 practices won a trip for two to Casablanca.
The comedian Hal Cruttenden entertained with gusto getting more than his fair share of laughs out of MD Barry Dibble's moniker. When he asked if Rodenstock made contact lenses the reception wasn't quite so warm.
