Andrew McCarthy-McClean previews EssilorLuxottica’s spring/summer 2024 eyewear launches

Tennis legend Roger Federer has translated his effortless style of play from the court to a first eyewear collection with Los Angeles-based brand Oliver Peoples.

Four sunglasses and two shield frames have been designed for everyday life with rubber grip nose pads and temple tips, plus high performance lens technology.

Detailing on the eyewear is personal to Federer with the number eight featuring on a plaque representing his birthday and the number of Wimbledon titles he won, as well as an octagonal metal logo on the temple tip inspired by the butt cap of a tennis racquet.
