Our client has an immediate need for an experienced individual to join their practice.
This is a busy High Street multiple, and it will be an advantage if applicants have experience of working in such a fast paced environment (optical experience is essential). You will either be an experienced Optical Assistant, fully conversant with pre screening, contact lens teaches, dispensing and administrative duties, or a Qualified Dispensing Optician.
The salary on offer will of course depend on your skills and previous optical roles, but for the OA position, a salary of 18k is not out of the question for the right person. The Qualified DO role carries a basic of between 20 - 22k, plus a package including bonus, pension etc.
The practice opens 7 days a week, and so you will need to be flexible with regard to your working days, as weekend work will be required on a rota basis.
