Hours: Full Time or Part Time (flexible working possible)

Salary: £32,250 - £40,250 (depending on experience/ pro-rata for part-time hours worked) plus location supplement and attractive benefits and potential bonus

The Role:
Dollond & Aitchison have an exciting opening for a resident Optometrist who would like to work in a busy and thriving branch. This position offers a great opportunity to live in a fantastic location, receive a competitive salary plus great bonus potential. As the resident Optometrist you would not only be asked to deliver outstanding eyecare, but as part of the Branch Leadership Team you would also be working closely with the Branch Manager to support the day-to-day running of this branch to achieve exceptional business results.


The Branch:
Our Bodmin branch is a fantastic place to work. With a dedicated and enthusiastic team to support you, there is no limit to your ability to make a difference. A diverse range of Customers and only one other optical practice in the town means you can take up the challenge of making this branch your own. Its one testing room boasts a projector chart, Humphrey, Pulsair Easy Eye and Combi unit, all newly fitted. With both bus and train stations within 3 minutes walk of the branch this branch is easily accessible from nearby towns.

The Area:
This town has much to offer! As the former county town of Cornwall, there are many places of interest within the town, including the Military Museum and Bodmin Jail. It is only 15 minutes to the North Cornish beaches, surely a bonus in summer, and most obviously Bodmin Moor is right on your doorstep. You can also take the Camel Trail cycle path to Padstow, where you can visit the celebrity chef Rick Stein’s restaurant, digesting the stunning scenery as you go.
