As an optometrist you will support the business by the delivery of eye examinations, recommendation of spectacles and activity related to the fitting and supply of contact lenses.
Our client has a range of practices, both in store and free standing, from single consulting room through to five consulting room businesses, many of which have extensive Pre- screening support.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SERVICE
Provide outstanding customer care for those customers requiring a professional service in order to meet and exceed their expectations. Provide a quality face to face customer interaction.
SALES
Work flexibly to maximise and drive profitable sales in line with the operating plan and optometrist progression to optimise customer care.
PEOPLE
Develop the skills and capabilities of the professional team in line with role standards.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Ensure compliance with professional standards, relevant legislation and company procedures, and improve professional practice and standards to demonstrate clinical governance.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Identify and recommend any areas of improvement in the store procedures and/or operations so as to make sure that the store is getting the best results.
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Create a good learning environment for the practice team so as to build up their capability. Identify and use learning opportunities to build the team.
TEAM WORK
Identify ways and take action to help all store colleagues to deliver the best results for the store.
BEST PRACTICE
Identify, share and implement best practice across the practice to ensure that key professional initiatives are delivered in the best way so as to maximise sales and professional service.
