Hours: Full Time or Part Time (flexible working possible)

Salary: £32,250 - £42,250 (depending on experience/ pro-rata for part-time hours worked) plus location supplement and attractive benefits and potential bonus

The Role:
Dollond & Aitchison have an exciting opening for a resident Optometrist who would like to work in a busy and thriving branch. This position offers a great opportunity to live in a fantastic location, receive a competitive salary plus great bonus potential. As the resident Optometrist you would not only be asked to deliver outstanding eyecare, but as part of the Branch Leadership Team you would also be working closely with the Branch Manager to support the day-to-day running of this branch to achieve exceptional business results.


The Branch:
The branch, set over 2 floors, has a separate pre-screening area upstairs with a staff room. All equipment is in excellent condition with a carried mix of patients keeping your role of Optometrist varied. You would be supported by a Managing Dispensing Optician and 4 Optical Advisers always ensuring the best possible customer care is provided. With both bus and train stations within 5 minutes walk of the branch this branch is easily accessible from nearby towns.

The Area:
Grimsby was once the largest fishing port in the world. Although this is no longer the case, there is still a rich heritage relating to this and there are many family businesses selling fresh fish as well as still being a major port. The docks have been extensively refurbished and they are fascinating to view. A mixture of old and new, there are plenty of places to visit, as well as good shipping and large markets alongside restaurants and pubs and the great night life. It is also close to Cleethorpes, providing alternative nightlife.

Grimsby has a lot to offer. Transport links bring people from all over Lincolnshire because Grimsby offers a good range of shopping facilities, from national chains to independents and the largest fishing market.
