This picture was taken in Mississippi by Jellymon. Not sure who the sunglasses are by, but they're 2010 alright.

Can't quite make up my mind which of these two I prefer, the exagerrated cat's eyes below or the zip above. Both are Linda Farrow for Alexander Wang.

...Well perhaps walk is an exagerration, but these glasses from Kirk Originals' Sculpture range, to be released in Milan in two weeks, are pretty miraculous. This one is Otis, in grey and scarlet but there are six new shapes in nine new colourways. The fronts are acetate while the temples, which appear to be textured yet smooth, are acrylic. Take yourself off to Kirk Originals' site (always fun)

Propo Design spectacles from Japan, great acetates and metal frames. Propo has a boutique too, in Osaka.

Oscar Magnuson has some great new campaign images for its 2010 sunglass collection - which looks terrific. All pictures are taken sideways on which leaves you wanting to find out more, which you can here. Below, a handsome pair of Oscar Magnuson optical glasses called Damien. I love the slight keyhole bridge and the strong rectangular shape. And below that, Santi, another great shape, in a

These are by Cutler & Gross for Erdem. Another example of bulky, double-bridged, round sunglasses for summer 2010. Close ups follow... And if the brilliant multicolured pair is too much for you, how about a dark tortoiseshell?

I've raved a fair bit about my love of wood. As a material for glasses that is, as well as for fuel, furniture and its structural strength. Here I present Herrlicht: brilliantly handmade in Germany, wooden glasses made in different natural colours of walnut, maple and pear. More brilliant images follow...

These are DG4069 sunglasses from Dolce and Gabbana. Explain the idea to me and I'd have said no. But having had a look, I'm surprised how well this concept works. More colourways follow...

Karen Walker has gone for some entertaining looks to showcase her 2010 eyewear. More pictures follow... There's a definite trend, not just here but everywhere, of round eyeshapes, especially combined with a flat brow bar and a quite a large gap between the bar and the bridge - does this have a name??

Mosley Tribes has made these great Lindel sunglasses for Native Son, as featured in the latter's 2010 menswear video...

Mark Borthwick has again photographed Mykita's latest wonder-specs for its 2010 lookbook and again, it all looks great. More pictures follow... Above, Mykita No.1 Marcus; top, Mykita Luxe Cosima; below, Emmanuelle and Roger. Above, Lina; below the wonderful Debbie, as discussed in my previous post.

Here's a man who knows a thing or two about good lenses - fashion photographer Mario Testino wears L.G.R sunglasses - the Tripoli model to be precise. Read my previous post on L.G.R sunglasses here, including a video on the great glass lenses and the malleable temple tips.

...well, they would be Carrera's Endurance - specifically the Endurance SML JO7 LF C.

Retro Super Future shades for children: Super Kids. More pictures here...

Victoria Beckham SS10 sunglasses are looking fantastic. There's really interesting variety of designs, created in partnership with UK glasses supremos Cutler & Gross. Very rarely do I give so much coverage to one collection. More pictures follow...
