Jacques Antequil eat your heart out.

Training has not been too easy of late  but I managed a great ride down to the coast on Saturday. Got up nice and early so was on my way by 6.15. What a beautiful morning. Had a good session on the aerobars and took plenty of food to make sure I didn't suffer any more North Downs fuel problems. It's amazing the difference a banana, a peanut butter sandwich and some rasins can make.

It was great to get the sea and sit on the coast and take in the sea air before turning around and head back home. Saturday do tend to be much busier on the roads but it was just about quiet enough not to poil the enjoyment.

Not too sure I'll choose Worthing again. It seems to have the worst drivers in the country.

I was all done an dusted home via and incredibly steep climb just behind Polsden Lacy in the Surry Hills and back home by 10.30 ready for visitors at 12 . Just as well they turned up at 11.
