Rows over rare earth materials

There has been a long running battle over rare earth materials which are used in a range of high tech products and also in lens manufacture. China produced rare earths to the point where the price dropped and other producers pulled out. Now it has 95 per cent of the market and guess what.......exports are being limited and the price is rocketing.
According to the BBC the EU, US and Japan want the World Trade Council to intervene.
