I'm sure a few people must have seen the tale of a   single mum from  London who  wanted to have blue eyes. She travelled to South America for an operation . Needless to say the NHS had to sort her out when she got back. The Richard Littlejohns of this world had a field day asking how an unemployed ( she's training to be a social worker) single mum of three can afford private cosmetic surgery ( she's already had a boob job in Bulgaria). and why the taxpayer  is left to pick up the tab when it all goes wrong.
