Go wild at the BCLA

The British Contact Lens Association’s Clinical Conference and Exhibition 2012 is to be held at the ICC Birmingham. Delegates to the four-day conference, from May 24-27, will be able to attend workshops and clinical presentations for CET points while the free exhibition (from May 25-27) gives optical professionals the opportunity to catch up with all the important players in the UK contact lens industry. As ever the highlight on the social side is the gala dinner, scheduled for the Saturday night, with the theme of ‘Wild, Wild, West’ set to inspire some elaborate fancy dress costumes. The conference will cover a variety of subjects, from the latest research in myopia control to presbyopia management and how to set up a dry eye clinic. Full details can be found at Meanwhile here is a stand-by-stand run through of the companies showcasing technological developments and products in the exhibition.
