An optical practice in London has won recognition as the leading donation box fundraiser for vision charity Optometry Giving Sight (OGS).
Essilor, a Silver National sponsor of OGS, presented Hynes Optometrists in Ealing with an iPad after it raised £485 for the charity over the course of 2012.
The practice has supported OGS for the past six years through donation boxes and a regular monthly donation. It also holds a Christmas cake raffle every December, which last year raised £200.
Essilor professional services manager Andy Hepworth is pictured presenting the prize to practice owner Joy Hynes (right), who said: 'We were very surprised and delighted to hear that Hynes had won the iPad for the highest total in the donation box.' Also pictured is Georgina Woolfrey, OGS communications manager.
