More than 600 delegates joined the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) in person and online for the 2030 In Sight Live event in Mexico City on June 26-27.
The annual event aimed to guide and shape combined efforts for systemic change in countries, regions, sectors and mindsets to achieve accessible eye care and rehabilitation services for all.
Caroline Casey, IAPB president, said: ‘We all have different ways in which we can make this change possible. Whether you are an ophthalmologist, optometrist, researcher, campaigner or hustler, we can make a remarkable impact. We can come together in this longing for change, and we will not stop.’
