Specsavers Epsom welcomes Chernobyl ChildrenA group of youngsters from an area still affected by the Chernobyl disaster have visited a local optician to receive free eye examinations and glasses.

Specsavers in Epsom welcomed 10 children from Chernobyl as part of their visit to the UK. Store manager Jenny Burton (centre) said: ‘It is vital for all children to have regular eye examinations. Since there is no access to eye care in their home town, we are delighted to give them the opportunity here at Epsom.’
