Sustainability safe space

Change is hard. It’s why large corporate companies have teams of change agents and transformation departments to manage and successfully implement large scale organisational change. 

Most independent practices won’t have a change agent to call upon when it’s time to switch things up, and a concept like sustainability might seem daunting. 

But when it comes to sustainability, it’s very much a case of adaptive change – smaller scale measures that can be implemented by existing members of staff to refine company processes. 

One of the reasons why Optician created the Eyes on Sustainability initiative was to take its readers on a journey, the same  journey the entire industry is on. Every performance improvement you make to combat climate change, whether you’re a multinational with 50,000 employees or a self-employed locum optometrist, adds up to something bigger.
