Next January’s opti Munich event will be the 10th installment to be organised by GHM and the organisers want to be the biggest and best yet.
Earlier this year, some 27,500 delegates descended on the Messe Munchen to see nearly 600 exhibitors across eyewear, contact lens, manufacturing and ophthalmic lens sectors. Many exhibitors consider opti to be as relevant to the global optics industry as Mido and Silmo.
Features have always been one of the show’s strong points and this year is no different. Vintage Passion is a new feature for 2017 and will explore the design and zeitgeist of vintage eyewear design, with the likes of Robert La Roche giving talks and holding forums with and coming designers.
The regular line up of clinical and business conferences includes the European Council of Optometry and Optics and German association for contact lens specialists and optometrists, VDCO.
