Getting things into perspective

One of the better outcomes of the current pandemic has been the rapid evolution of online CET since the first lockdown. The recent CooperVision Virtual Perspectives 2021 event was a case to point. The platform allowed over 4,000 clinicians from around the world to access a mix of live lectures, scan through exhibitor material, and pop into the ‘lounge’ area to listen to experts explaining their experiences with the new Biofinity toric multifocal lens (figure 1). For more on this new lens, turn to page 23. In this article I want to summarise some of the key messages from the various lectures and discussions from the conference.
