Over 160 practitioners attended the official launch of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care’s 1-Day Acuvue Define lens in Central London and Manchester last week and heard of the potential to reach millions of new customers.
Speaking at the London event, J&J’s general manager David Hall said that the launch was the first of many, describing Define as giving enhanced confidence to patients and offering everyday natural eye enhancement, along with the usual Acuvue benefits of comfort, vision and health.
He introduced three American R&D colleagues who were responsible for 1-Day Acuvue Define, Lenora Copper, global platform director, Angie Bowers, senior product designer and Meredith Jansen, principal research optometrist, who detailed how the lens was developed over three years.
