Optician Awards 2015: Technology Practice of the Year

Optometrists in Scotland are increasingly involved in triage services, treating ocular disease and offering a wide array of ocular health and optical services. The Technology Practice of the Year award has always been aimed at recognising practices where modern developments in technology are fully exploited to the benefit of the patient and surrounding community. This year’s winner, Peter Ivins Eye Care, certainly fits the bill. From the comprehensive and intuitive website offering a range of eye health services, through to the extensively equipped premises, the practice fully justifies the decision of the judges.
