Optician Awards: Retaining patients and winning awards

Andrew and Rogers Optometrists scooped the Contact Lens Practice of the Year category at the Optician Awards 2021, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Vision.

‘We were very pleasantly surprised to have won the Contact Lens Practice of the Year award,’ says Roger Smyth, co-owner of Andrew and Rogers Optometrists in Beverley, East Yorkshire. ‘The ceremony was a fantastic celebration of achievements within the optical industry. It was organised brilliantly and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and make some new ones.’

The awards judges commended the practice for really thinking ‘about their patients’ contact lens journey’ and offering ‘a wide range of lenses backed by considerable knowledge’. Smyth says: ‘The whole team was really proud to win as everyone has their part to play in the patients’ contact lens journey and is keen to constantly expand their knowledge about new products.’
