Louis Stone supported the Cardiff Optometry Society’s Christmas Ball last month, where it donated a Prism Bar Set to student Sophie Covendale, pictured right.
The frame distributor has sponsored a number of optometry societies throughout the country.
Molly Feltham, student RAG representative for Cardiff OpSoc, pictured centre, said: ‘The Cardiff Optometry Society and I would like to thank Louis Stone for the kind donations for the raffle and table decorations at our Christmas Ball.
‘This wouldn’t have been possible without Louis Stone’s kind donations and continued support, and we really are grateful.’
The event, held at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff, was attended by 155 people and raised around £500 for Guide Dogs and Maggie’s Club.
The Cardiff OpSoc has lined up a number of charity trips this summer, with group visits planned to Ghana, Malawi and Moldova to refract and provide eye checks between July and September.
