Author: Lucy Patchett
UK tradeshow 100% Optical (25-27 February) announced its 2023 programme, with an extended CPD educational section delivered by event partner Association of Optometrists.
It will have more than 140 CPD sessions across 11 different hubs, with key themes on myopia management, advances in clinical imaging, artificial intelligence and dry eye disease.
On the Main Stage, Edmonds and Slatter Opticians director Tim Cole will explore the future of imaging technology, CooperVision’s myopia management director Elizabeth Lumb will discuss what the profession needs to slow down myopia progression, and Moorfields’ Miriam Minihan will present the most common vitreoretinal conditions and how they are managed.
Dr Ian Beasley, AOP head of education, said: ‘We are looking forward to welcoming past and new delegates to the show – now in its ninth year. 100% Optical is a unique event focused on delivering an innovative programme of education designed by the AOP to keep delegates up to date on emerging areas of clinical practice.’
More will be revealed in November and December, and CPD bookings open on January 11, 2023.
