Ace & Tate has rolled out daily silicone hydrogel contact lenses

Direct to consumer eyewear and optician chain Ace & Tate has rolled out daily silicone hydrogel contact lenses as part of its online product offering.

Although the manufacturer of the lenses was not revealed on the site, the company said they were made by one of the world’s leading contact lens suppliers. Comparison of packaging of both carton and foil blister packs suggested the lenses were Menicon Miru 1day.

Ace & Tate stated on its website that the lenses were suitable for experienced daily contact lens wearers and those confident with buying contact lenses online. A valid contact lens prescription, less than 12 months old and within -10.00D and +4.00D without cylinder measurement, was required for ordering. Cost varied between £20 and £40 for a 30-day supply.
