Myey is now available from the RNIB online shop
Orcam’s assistive technology device Myeye, which helps those with low or no vision, is now available from the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) online shop.
MyEye offers users increased independence by allowing users to read any printed or digital text, road signs, products in shops, and even recognise the faces of their loved ones. The device tells the wearer what they are viewing through a discrete earpiece.
The device will be promoted at five road shows across the UK over the next two months, to increase awareness of the new support available. Orcam will visit RNIB resource centres in Liverpool (TBC), Edinburgh (July 20) Belfast (August 31) and Bristol (TBC).
