A new presbyopia lens from Markennovy has been released
A new presbyopia lens from Markennovy, in collaboration with the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI), has been released. EDOF (extended depth of focus) is a soft contact lens for presbyopes, is a silicone hydrogel lens with extended depth of focus technology designed to take on the shortcomings of other multifocal soft contact lenses.
Dr. Fabian Conrad from BHVI explained: ‘The optimisation of higher order aberrations having taken into consideration different pupil sizes, decentrations and aberrations support clear vision at all distances minimising unwelcome visual disturbances like ghosting and haloes.’
