​Alcon announces education programme for the BCLA clinical conference

Alcon has announced its education programme for the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) clinical conference and exhibition held in Liverpool on June 9-11.

Highlights include a presentation on multifocal lenses and a session exploring the increasing opportunities e-commerce offers. Alcon will use the session to discuss its InContact digital service which connects customers to local contact lens portals.

Alcon’s portfolio of monthly and disposable contact lenses and lens care solutions will also be showcased over at its booth, including the Dailies Total1 multifocal contact lenses which won Contact Lens Product of the Year at this year’s Optician Awards.

President of Alcon Europe, Middle-East and Africa Ian Bell said: ‘Presbyopia affects nearly 2 billion people worldwide. More than ever, Alcon will focus its BCLA programme on the multifocal segment where there is a strong need for awareness.’
