Avizor donates eye drops to NHS

Over 1000 eye drops have been donated to NHS trusts

Avizor has donated £9,000 worth of Lacrifresh Ocu-Dry eye drops to frontline staff at hospital trusts around the UK to help alleviate dry eye symptoms.

Over 1,000 bottles were donated to NHS trusts such as Northampton General Hospital and the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

Gary Daniels, UK general manager at Avizor, said: ‘We wanted to do our bit to allow the heroes of our NHS to focus on saving lives, giving them peace of mind and day-long comfort from dry and irritated eyes.'

Brian Tompkins, director of Tompkins, Knight & Son Optometrists which assisted with the donation to Northampton General Hospital, said: 'We were delighted to assist Avizor with this very generous donation and we hope it eases any eye irritation experienced by staff at Northampton General Hospital.'
