BCLA Conference goes virtual

The BCLA has announced that its yearly clinical conference and exhibition will be held online due to Covid-19 guidelines.

The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) has announced that its yearly clinical conference and exhibition will be held online due to Covid-19 guidelines.

Luke Stevens-Burt, BCLA chief executive, explained: ‘Moving to a virtual event has allowed us to rethink how the conference works and we are excited to reach eye care professionals who otherwise would not have been able to join us at a physical event.’

The Association said that its online event would feature live-streamed lectures across June 13-14. International attendees have been encouraged and the BCLA added that ECPs could tune in to lectures at a time that suited them across the event’s dates.
