French sunglass brand Bollé has debuted its mobile Augmented Reality Sunglass experience, allowing potential buyers to try-out the company’s Phantom lens technology.

Working within Instagram, the virtual try-on (VTO) application imposes virtual sunglasses onto the customer’s face using a smartphone’s front-facing camera, before flipping to the back camera and demonstrating sunglass effects like high contrast vision and anti-fog.

Once customers find a lens that suits them, they can search for nearby retailers that stock Bollé products.
