Bollé’s releases dedicated cycling model Shifter

Bollé has a long history of involvement at the highest levels of cycling, with its first sports sunglasses introduced in 1958 to equip cyclists such as Louison Bobet during the Tour de France.

Since then, the brand has maintained strong partnerships with cyclists and teams, one of the most recent examples being the relationship with UCI World Tour team AG2R La Mondiale.

Following four years of collaboration, the team is the first to wear Bollé’s latest cycling dedicated model Shifter, which launches in September. Romain Bardet, pictured, the team’s captain, has already been wearing the sunglass on the World Tour competition roads such as Strade Bianche and during his training sessions.

The style will complete the whole team’s outfit and will be used for the first Grand Tour of the season, the Giro d’Italia.

The retro-style shield design features a screen constructed from NXT and is available with prescription lenses in a wide range of prescriptions (+6 to -8/cyl-4) and a large choice of tints to cater for any type of weather and light conditions.
