Brulimar to supply frames from China

Brulimar Optical Group has launched Brulimar China Direct, which will supply frames to its customers directly from China.

Opticians who have bought into the scheme would benefit from savings and increased margins on frames they would normally buy anyway, said Brulimar.

After negotiations, the optical group has established joint venture arrangement with its factories in China, that would enable them to offer its opticians a variety of eyewear at lower prices.

Managing director Howard Librae said: ‘Supplying frames to our customers direct from our China factories is we believe the next logical step forward in the supply and distribution of eyewear in the UK.’
