Careers in eye care resource launches

A new website, careersineyecare.org.uk, has been launched for the Association of British Dispensing Optician’s Careers in Eyecare campaign.

The campaign promoted careers across the eye care sector and highlighted the variety of roles available to young people, their parents and their carers.

Commenting on the launch of the new website, ABDO head of communications Antonia Chitty said: ‘Over the past two years we have developed a great range of materials, and it is fantastic to be able to host these all in one website.’

She added: ‘There are a great range of careers available in eye care, and we want every young person to be aware of their options.’
